steps forward steps back

hey friends!!!! my life has been full of lots of happenings

softball season has begun and im loving every second of it! i've been super busy lately -- the play was awesome, school is awesome, my friends are awesome

if we are being honest here, it hasn't been a great month....but I'm really good at pretending every things fine (& i kind of hate myself for that)!! if i have learned anything its that you have to enjoy doing the things you love, and how important it is to make the conscious effort to be happy

on a chilly day me and jen and geli drove up to houston to visit rice

its the first college i have ever visited but it really wowed me

all of the buildings are gorgeous and i could definitely see myself going there

it was such a step in the right direction bc college no longer feels like this abstract thing that is out of reach and terrifying

around the end of the semester, epiphany happened!! its an open mic night at our school put on by creative writing & i couldn't believe all the wonderful wackiness that flooded out of the student body

i even played the electric cello w a few friends and its safe to say thats the most nervous i have been ever

my sched has been bombarded with birthday dinners

lug sleepover was a success

calling all freshmen -- are we friends yet???

in fizzix we are building water rockets

oh, and we also have to shoot it in the air and protect an egg from breaking in the process

launch day was friday and it was fun we basically work at NASA now

for sunday fun day, we decided it would be a fun and safe idea to pull a scooter around behind a car at the church parking lot

ya we are dumb and ya we are five but it was so fun!!!! sk8r girls 5vr
